I’m Roger Janssen, known as DJ Roger — a Dutch DJ, radio presenter and singer-songwriter from Limburg.

Music has always been an important part of my life. From soul, funk and disco to pop classics and contemporary sounds, I love music that makes people feel something. Whether I’m behind the decks, presenting a radio show or working on a song, my aim is to create a connection and share something meaningful.

Born in Heerlen and raised in a mining family, my roots are firmly grounded in Limburg. Life has brought me joy, loss and difficult chapters, each shaping the person I am today. Being a father has also given me a deeper understanding of love, responsibility and what truly matters.

Those experiences find their way into my songwriting. Love, vulnerability, resilience and finding your way forward are themes close to my heart
